MU to celebrate Founders Day with Chime
Manchester University will celebrate Founders Day 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 4 with the Chime and refreshments.
One hundred thirty-three years ago, on Nov. 5, 1889, Roanoke Classical Seminary moved from Roanoke, Indiana, to North Manchester and became North Manchester College.
A song will also be performed on the 100-year-old Manchester Chime, which was rededicated at Homecoming.
There will be hot chocolate and cookies in Flory Auditorium at the Science Center for students, faculty and staff.
