Funderburg Library - Course Reserves
Course reserves are available at the main desk of the library. A Manchester University ID is required to borrow these materials.
Loan Periods
The majority of materials are available for 2 hours at a time, with renewals available. Materials checked out less than two hours before close will be made due the following morning.
Overdue Fees
Reserve materials will be fined $1/hour overdue up to $20.
For Students
Visit this page to search for your courses to see if your materials are available at the library.
The library does not keep copies of materials for all courses. The course reserves available have been added by the course instructor or department and are often personal copies. If the texts for your course are not available in the general library collection or on reserve, you can also submit an Interlibrary Loan request to borrow the item.
For Instructors
Please fill out this form to submit new course reserve materials.
Items will be kept at the main desk until the end of the academic year but will only be active in the course reserve system for the semester that their course is in session. Materials can be removed from reserve at any time and can be picked up or returned to you through campus mail.
At the end of the academic year, you will receive an email with a list of materials you have on reserve and will be asked to confirm what should be kept for the next year or removed and returned to you.
